YSA Softball Fall Leagues
The Yorkville Fall Softball League begins during the second week in September and finishes at the end of November with playoffs to follow. We offer multiple skilled divisions in men's and coed:
- Division 2 - Combined Advanced and Intermediate
- Division 3 - Recreational
Coed teams are required to have a minimum of 3 women on the team, in the batting order and on the field at all times.
WHEN WILL REGISTRATION OPEN?
Registration is open now.
Free Agent? Join a team, make new friends and have a great time. Yorkville makes it easy for individual players. If you would like to join a team, it's simple to register in our Free Agent program. Your information will be added to the Free Agent list, which is available to team captains to view and select the players they need for their team. Contact the league office at 914-962-8390 if you have questions or would like to become a team captain.
WHEN DOES THE 2015 SEASON START?
The fall season is scheduled to start during the week of September 14.
WHERE DO THE TEAMS PLAY?
Yorkville Sports Association has access to locations all across Manhattan including Harlem River (128th & 3rd Avenue), East River (Grand Street & FDR Drive), Colonel Charles Young and Dewitt Clinton.

WHAT ARE THE GAME TIMES?
Coed: All games are scheduled to begin between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
Men's: All games are scheduled to begin between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM.

WHAT DAYS DO THE TEAMS PLAY?
Fall conferences play on the same day each week; i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday conferences. Playoffs and rescheduled games may be scheduled for any available day. There is 1 conference that is the exception: American General plays random days Monday through Thursday.
HOW MANY GAMES WILL MY TEAM PLAY PER WEEK?
We target to schedule 1 game per week with 1 bye week per season (this means you will not play 1 week due to odd number of teams). You may see additional games per week or doubleheaders depending on cancellations due to rainouts or other unavoidable circumstances.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
$1,250.00 / team for the 2015 season. (Additional Same Day Forfeit Fees may apply.)

WHAT'S THE DEADLINE?
Deadline for paid registration:
- Returning teams August 3
- Overall deadline August 17
HOW DO THE PLAYOFFS WORK?
Top 4 teams will participate in single elimination playoffs.
The overall league champion will win a $1,000.00 cash prize and runner-up will receive a $500.00 cash prize.
