YSA Softball Fall Leagues
The Yorkville Fall Softball League begins during the second week in September and finishes at the end of November with playoffs to follow. We offer multiple skilled divisions in men's and coed:
- Division 2 - Combined Advanced and Intermediate
- Division 3 - Recreational
Coed teams are required to have a minimum of 3 women on the team, in the batting order and on the field at all times.

WHEN DOES THE 2011 SEASON START?
The fall season is scheduled to start on Monday, September 12th.
WHERE DO THE TEAMS PLAY?
Yorkville Sports Association has access to locations all across Manhattan including Harlem River (128th & 3rd Avenue), East River (Grand Street & FDR Drive) Dewitt Clinton, and Colonel Charles Young (145th & Lenox).

WHAT ARE THE GAME TIMES?
Coed: All games are scheduled to begin between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
Men's: All games are scheduled to begin between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM.

WHAT DAYS DO THE TEAMS PLAY?
Games are scheduled Monday through Thursday. Teams may pick 2 days of the week they prefer and Yorkville will attempt to schedule all regular season games on 1 or both of your choices. Playoffs and rescheduled games may be scheduled for any available day.
HOW MANY GAMES WILL MY TEAM PLAY PER WEEK?
We schedule 1 game per week with 1 bye week per season (this means you will not play 1 week due to odd number of teams). You may see additional games per week or doubleheaders depending on cancellations due to rainouts or other unavoidable circumstances.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
$1,070.00 / team for the season.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- 6 regular season games
- officials for the game
- permits for the field
- playoffs for the top 4 teams
- $1,000 cash prize to the Overall League Champion; $500 cash prize to runner-up.
Returning teams: last year's teams will be guaranteed a spot until August 1st. Returning teams must register and pay online by the deadline to secure their spot from last year. Returning teams that have not submitted full registration and payment by the deadline will be handled on a first come, first served basis.
New teams: there is no deadline BUT, the season fills up VERY FAST so get your registration and payment in ASAP!
HOW DO THE PLAYOFFS WORK?
Top 4 teams will participate in single elimination playoffs.
The overall league champion will win a $1,000.00 cash prize and runner-up will receive a $500.00 cash prize.
