Register Now! Returning Team Deadline — February 12^th

Spring Softball's right around the corner. We are looking forward to a great 2012 spring season for our men's and coed divisions, including our very successful new coed division introduced in 2011 -- Just for Fun.

League fees for most divisions this year are $2,295 per team, the only exception being the Coed I fee of $2,695 (Coed I plays exclusively in Central Park).

Our leagues provide:

• 12 regular season games
• 12 softballs
• Officials for all games
• Permits for the fields
• All-Star game
• Playoffs
• End of season awards party
• Prizes to the top teams.

FREE AGENT/INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

Returning teams must register by February 12th to secure their space in the same conference as last year. Teams planning to change conferences should register ASAP to secure open spaces, which will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. For more information see our Spring Softball page.

With the 2012 sports season just around the corner, and spring registration underway, we are pleased to announce significant improvements to our website, designed to facilitate team administration for our captains and to give our players easier access to more information about their teams.

My YSA Features

• Improved Team Registration: sign up your team more quickly and efficiently with our new, "smarter" registration system.
• Captain's Account Services:
  • Quick and easy online roster submission
  • Manage multiple teams from the same account
  • Get reminders to enter scores and notifications about upcoming games
  • Easy Invite: just enter a team member's email to invite them to the site where they can manage their own personal information.
• Individual Player Accounts: each player will be a member of My YSA, setting up his/her own account with an individual login and password.
• Electronic Waiver Submission: a big improvement to the system we introduced last year, individual players will submit their own online waivers.

If you had an account during the past three years, please use your email address as your user name. Your password will be the same. If you haven't had an account before, click the "create an account" link in the red bar at the top of the My YSA page.

We are committed to maximizing the fun of playing with YSA Leagues, and plan to introduce more improvements to our online services in the future. Your input and feedback is welcome.

Fall Softball Playoffs

Congratulations to League Champions

• Men's II – NYC Smoke
• Men's III – Sheddin Poundz
• Coed II – City Knights
• Coed III – Debevoise & Plimpton

After two previous trips to the playoffs, NYC Smoke won their first YSA League Championship, defeating Gotham 8 to 2. Earlier in the evening Gotham defeated Fratelli to advance to the league final.

The game between Sheddin Poundz and BTIG went 11 exciting innings before the Poundz pulled it out 4 to 3.

The City Knights vs. Spike Hill game was a thriller, with the Knights coming out on top of a 7 to 6 score.

Our teams played great games, had a lot of fun and look forward to next season
